I thought that it would be appropriate to take a moment to mourn the loss of Andrew Koenig, an actor whose body was found yesterday around noon in Stanley Park by the Vancouver police.  He was the son of Walter Koenig, the man we had all known to love as Pavel Chekov on ST:TOS.  Andrew had been reported missing since February 14, 2010 in Vancouver.  He was always known to be battling depression, and ultimately decided to end his own life.  Andrew was best known for his role as Richard “Boner” Stalone on the television show “Growing Pains” that aired in the 1980s.

My deepest condolences go out the Koenig family.
